Job Description:

The Manufacturing Analyst will play a pivotal role in driving financial governance and requirements of the factories. This individual will be responsible for consolidating financial data, reporting for monthly results, budgets, and forecasts, including commentary.

Key responsibilities include risk and control assessment reporting, ensuring integrity of factory ledgers, assisting standard costing process across all factories, analysis of fully costed product and plant efficiency, and raw material usage variances to ensure accurate BOM's and product routings.

The successful candidate will also identify and implement cost reduction and profit improvement opportunities, manage benchmarking of factory reporting, and S&OP planning support as required.

Additionally, this role will involve establishing and maintaining effective financial/management accounting controls and systems, including control processes, and monitoring for factories and warehouses.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for influencing and engaging key stakeholders. The ability to analyze and communicate financial information is also crucial.

Requirements:
  • Experience working within the manufacturing, building, and construction industry
  • Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Business, Finance, and/or Commerce
  • 3+ years' experience with financial and/or management accounting activities, including general accounting, financial analysis, and reports
  • Experience with SAP (highly regarded)
