Project Management Role Overview

Senior Manager Human Resources APAC, Certified Clifton Strengths Coach

This position is part of the Delivery Management practice within Professional Services organisation. The key objectives are:

  • Ensuring successful & consistent delivery of software solutions to customers in every industry.
  • Effectively managing commercials by securing committed revenue & maintaining healthy margins.
  • Effective change management to secure additional revenue for the organisation.

As a Project Manager within our team, you will play a key role in the growth of our Services practice, help implement best practice and new methodologies, and deliver projects as per agreed scope, schedule & budget ensuring higher revenue & maintaining healthy margins for the organisation.

Our Project Managers manage diverse portfolios of customers and projects varying in size, complexity, industry domain, and use-case across their entire span.

Responsibilities
  • Implementing projects successfully using project management best practices & methodologies and effective Technical Delivery Management skills.
  • Managing project teams of functional and technical consultants (internal & external)
  • Understanding FICO products to converse with clients confidently and knowledgeably.
  • Building trusted client relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Interpreting commercial and contractual terms and managing the project according to agreed terms & conditions of the contract.
  • Supporting Country Services leaders, Practice Leads and Sales teams on pre-sales activity and proposals (incl. Statements of Work approvals/ Project Management estimates).
  • Adhering to PMO Governance & Project Reporting using Project management tools.
Experience & Qualifications
  • Overall 15+ years of experience, 8+ years of effective Project Manager experience.
  • Worked in reputable banks, system integrators (SI), product companies (like FICO) and/or software organisations.
  • Software implementation experience in Project Management/Technical Delivery Management.
  • Delivered end-2-end large / medium software projects using Waterfall & Agile Methodology.
  • Good understanding of Risk, Fraud, Originations, Customer Onboarding domains.
  • Experience delivering software solutions in Loan Originations, Fraud, Decisioning, Customer Management.
  • Experience delivering Cloud based implementations & On-Prem solutions.
  • Experience working on On-Shore / Off-Shore model.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher or equivalent work experience.
  • PMP or equivalent project management certifications like Scrum Master, SAFe.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10%.

  • Track record of owning and carrying out projects from start to finish with strong prioritisation and time management.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work well with internal & external teams and varying levels of management.
  • Proficient in written and spoken English.
  • Availability to work outside New Zealand/Australia business hours occasionally.
  • Ability to function effectively in fast-paced environments and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to drive projects independently through to completion.
  • Highly collaborative approach to build, manage and motivate project teams spread across geographies, departments and organisations (clients and partners).
