Family Law Specialist Opportunity

About this role: We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Family Law Specialist to join our team. You will gain invaluable experience across all facets of family law under the mentorship of industry leaders.

This is a great opportunity for recent law graduates or early-career lawyers to fast-track their careers in a thriving platform for legal professionals to excel.

Responsibilities:

  1. Assist senior lawyers with family law matters, including divorce, separation, child custody, property division, and spousal maintenance.
  2. Conduct legal research, prepare legal documents, and draft correspondence.
  3. Attend client meetings, take instructions, and provide legal advice.
  4. Liaise with clients to keep them informed of case progress.
  5. Assist with preparation for court appearances (as experience grows).
  6. Maintain high organization and attention to detail.

Requirements:

  1. Admitted to practice law (or about to be) in Queensland.
  2. Strong academic record in law.
  3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  5. Highly motivated and results-oriented.
  6. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  7. Empathy and understanding of the sensitivities involved in family law matters.
