Are you a passionate and strategic family lawyer ready to lead a team? Do you thrive on advocating for clients during some of life's most challenging moments?

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Family Lawyer to join an established firm with offices in Sydney,Brisbane and on the Gold Coast. This role will ideally be based in Brisbane although happy to receive applicants close to the other office locations.

In this pivotal role, you will play a key leadership role, providing exceptional legal representation and guidance to clients facing complex family law issues. You will also mentor and motivate members of family lawyers team whilefostering a collaborative and successful environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Become a senior member in a team offamily lawyers, providing guidance, mentorship, and ensuring a high standard of client service.
  • Provide exceptional legal representation to clients in a wide range of family law matters, including divorce, property settlements, child custody and support, and domestic violence.
  • Develop and implement effective legal strategies to achieve the best possible outcomes for clients.
  • Negotiate and mediate complex family law issues.
  • Appear in court and represent clients effectively.
  • Stay up-to-date on relevant family law legislation and case law.
  • Contribute to the continued growth and success of the firm.

Qualifications:

  • Admitted to the Supreme Court of Queensland and in good standing.
  • Demonstrated track record of success in complex family law matters.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to mentor and motivate junior lawyers.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and advocacy skills.
  • Compassionate and empathetic demeanor with a strong understanding of the sensitivities surrounding family law issues.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage a high workload and meet deadlines efficiently.
