Job Opportunity: High Voltage Electrician

We are seeking a qualified High Voltage Electrician to join our team at Olive Downs Complex. This is a secure and rewarding opportunity that offers a chance to work with a dynamic team in the mining industry.

Olive Downs Complex is a greenfield project located south-east of Moranbah, delivering excellence in mining with a strong focus on safety and environmental standards.

About the Role
  • Maintain a fleet of AC Electric Drive Haul Trucks (Autonomous) and other plant equipment and site infrastructure safely and efficiently.
  • Work safely and comply with the Site Safety Health and Management System.
  • Complete General Maintenance, Breakdowns, Services and Component Change outs.
  • Perform periodical statutory electrical testing/inspections.
  • Source technical information from reference manuals, technical bulletins, OEM and computer-based systems.
  • Maintain good housekeeping standards at all times.
  • Conduct required inspections to maximise equipment utilisation.
Requirements
  • A Queensland Electrical Work Licence or equivalent.
  • HV Switching certification is desirable.
  • Proven experience in a similar role in heavy industry or construction.
  • Current LVR/CPR.
  • A Valid Driver's Licence.
  • Current Standard 11.
