Job Description

The Olive Downs Complex is a greenfield project located 40 kilometres South-East of Moranbah which commenced mining operations in mid-2023. Thiess delivers full-service mining operations, including mine planning overburden removal, drill and blast, load and haul (Autonomous), water management and rehabilitation as well as the construction of the mine infrastructure.

As an Electrical Tradesperson (HV), you will be required to maintain a fleet of AC Electric Drive Haul Trucks (Autonomous) and other plant equipment and site infrastructure safely and efficiently as directed in accordance with Thiess maintenance systems documentation.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A Queensland Electrical Work Licence or equivalent
  • Proven experience in a similar role in heavy industry or construction
  • Current LVR/CPR
  • Valid Driver's Licence
  • Current Standard 11
