Ventia is seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to support the Telecommunications Critical Infrastructure Team. In this role, you will collaborate with construction supervisors and project managers to ensure the successful delivery of projects in Queensland.
Key Responsibilities- Proactively forecast and plan project timelines in accordance with the Program of Works and client expectations.
- Ensure project deadlines are met and all materials are ordered and delivered in a timely manner to meet construction schedules.
- Monitor construction execution and report delays and problems to the construction team.
- Manage, review, and develop weekly and monthly progress reports.
- Drive and implement client-focused initiatives and improvements.
- Provide specialist support to internal stakeholders, offering solution-based improvement initiatives.
- Actively manage and ensure project management systems and scheduling are up to date.
- Ensure all staff and subcontractors are compliant with VisRes and other databases.
- Perform a minimum of 5 DBOR audits monthly.
- Demonstrated knowledge of cost, commercial management, and finance principles.
- Proactively identify and resolve problems in conjunction with the Site team.
- Significant planning and organizational skills.
- Excellent skills across Microsoft's suite of products, particularly Excel.
- Experience in SAP and/or Ariba is highly regarded.
- Sound communication and collaboration skills.
