About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Medical Officer to take on a leadership role in our Emergency Department. You will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care, leadership, and supervision to our team, while contributing to the future direction of emergency care at BRHS.
Key Responsibilities- Provide senior medical support to the Emergency Department and other areas as required
- Lead and supervise our Interns, Hospital Medical Officers, and Registrars
- Provide expert input into clinical governance activities
- Support and encourage further training and professional development
- An attractive remuneration package with a base salary commencing at $164,320 per annum

- Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (or equivalent)
- Current or eligible for Specialist registration with AHPRA and the Medical Board of Australia
- At least 10 years of postgraduate experience in clinical medicine, including substantial periods of work in Emergency Medicine
- Competence in advanced life support techniques, advanced paediatric life support techniques, and advanced airway management
- AMC parts 1 & 2 passed
