Senior Sonographer

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Sonographer to join our team at Bairnsdale Regional Health Service. As a Senior Sonographer, you will be responsible for providing expert Sonography services to Medical Imaging clients and clinicians in a rural health care setting.

About the Department:

Our department operates over a variety of specialties and our facilities comprise state-of-the-art equipment, including a GE 1.5T MRI machine and the latest Toshiba CT scanner. We offer a range of interventional and fluoroscopic procedures, and our service is complemented by the expertise of visiting Radiologists.

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Applied Science in Medical Imaging or equivalent and AHPRA registration.
• Minimum 3 years' sonography experience preferred and current enrolment in a CPD program.
• Postgraduate qualifications in a specialized modality (Ultrasound).
• A high level of knowledge of current Medical Imaging practices.
