UX/UI Designer Role

The UX/UI Designer will be responsible for gathering and evaluating user requirements in collaboration with product and business stakeholders. This involves conducting market, customer, and participant engagement activities to maximise opportunities to co-design the requirements and outcome of each project.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify user needs and design solutions that meet their expectations
  • Conduct market, customer, and participant research to inform design decisions
  • Illustrate concepts using storyboards, process flows, and sitemaps
  • Design wireframes and prototypes for mobile and web applications
  • Conduct usability testing and gather feedback from users
  • Capture and analyse data related to user requirements
  • Achieve agreement and formal sign-off of requirements by stakeholders and governance groups
  • Assist in the development of a client's design system
  • Produce deliverables in accordance with project schedules

The role requires proven experience in eliciting UI/UX requirement techniques such as brainstorming, workshops, prototyping, observation, or interviews. The ideal candidate should have contemporary knowledge of UI/UX methodologies and experience designing to meet WCAG guidelines.
