We are seeking a skilled User Experience Design Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in design thinking, systems thinking, and agile methodologies.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a talented designer to contribute to the development of end-to-end customer experience strategies. You will work closely with cross-agency and cross-sectoral teams to identify design opportunities and develop effective design solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop human-centred design solutions for public sector clients.
  • Conduct research using quantitative and qualitative techniques to understand consumer expectations and needs.
  • Create service blueprints, system maps, customer journeys, and product or service delivery plans.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify design opportunities and develop effective design solutions.
  • Work on accessible digital products that meet WCAG guidelines and public sector design requirements.
Requirements:
  • 4+ years of experience in UX Design, preferably in an agency or government setting.
  • Expertise in design thinking, systems thinking, and agile methodologies.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, InVision, Adobe XD, CC, and other relevant software.
  • Australian citizenship and ability to obtain an ASGVA Baseline clearance.
