Job Title: Senior Rail Engineer

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Rail Engineer to lead our team in delivering high-profile infrastructure projects. Your expertise will be invaluable in producing technical deliverables, promoting innovation, and ensuring the application of best engineering practices.

The ideal candidate will have minimum 6 years of experience in railway track and civil engineering roles, including projects related to freight and/or passenger railways within WA or wider Australia. Experience with PTA projects is preferred.

You will collaborate with other disciplines to produce high-quality project deliverables for complex railway and civil infrastructure designs. A passion for delivering high-quality projects in a collaborative team environment is essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead production of technical deliverables in railway track and civil engineering.
  • Promote innovation and ensure the application of best engineering practices and design tools.
  • Collaborate with other disciplines to produce high-quality project deliverables for complex railway and civil infrastructure designs.
  • Develop and maintain client relationships at project and local market levels.
  • Work closely with our network of senior professionals, engineers, designers, and drafters to share knowledge and broaden your skills.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in railway track and civil engineering roles.
  • Knowledge of railway planning and design, especially track alignment, earthworks, and the inter-relationship with drainage, geotechnical, and structural disciplines across various project stages.
  • Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) or equivalent overseas recognition is preferred.
