
Clinical Leadership in Nursing

As a Nurse Unit Manager, you will provide clinical leadership in our acute and aged care services. This is a full-time leadership role that requires a strong focus on coordination of clinical care and operational management of the unit.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead nursing staff to achieve excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement in patient care.
- Oversee daily operations of the nursing unit, ensuring efficient patient flow, resource allocation, and adherence to clinical protocols and standards.
- Foster a positive work environment that values diversity, inclusivity, and professional development for all staff members.
- Implement evidence-based practices and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care delivery and coordination.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and organizational policies and procedures.
- Participate in strategic planning, budgeting, and resource allocation to support organizational goals and objectives.
- Act as a role model and mentor for staff, promoting professional growth, autonomy, and accountability.
- Holds current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
- Demonstrated experience in a leadership or management role within a healthcare setting.
- Strong leadership skills, including the ability to motivate and inspire others, build effective teams, and drive positive change.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage stakeholders at all levels and foster collaborative relationships.
- Knowledge of contemporary healthcare practices, quality improvement, and regulatory requirements.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying abreast of emerging trends and best practices in nursing and healthcare management.
