About This Role

As a Nurse Unit Manager, you will provide clinical leadership and direction to nursing staff, promoting a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff, ensuring efficient patient flow, resource allocation, and adherence to clinical protocols and standards.

  • Implement evidence-based practices and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimise patient care delivery and coordination.

Requirements
  • Registered Nurse qualification and current registration with the relevant regulatory body.
  • Previous experience in a leadership or management role within a healthcare setting.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, including the ability to motivate and inspire others, build effective teams, and drive positive change.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
