We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a House Supervisor. In this rewarding role, you will oversee the daily care and well-being of young people in our residential care homes, guiding and supporting a team of Residential Carers.

About the Role

This is a Permanent Full-time opportunity based in Geelong (Barwon region) within our Out of Home Care Program. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with the Residential Care Coordinator to ensure that every day is filled with growth, stability, and positive development for the young people in our care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily care and well-being of young people in our residential care homes
  • Guide and support a team of Residential Carers
  • Work closely with the Residential Care Coordinator to ensure the success of our Out of Home Care Program

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A relevant bachelor's degree with experience including four (4) additional mandatory competencies or a relevant diploma with substantial experience including four (4) additional mandatory competencies
  • Proven skills and experience in development of behavioural management programs for children and adolescents with challenging behaviours
  • Demonstrated ability to supervise, lead and support a team of residential care workers
  • Ability to participate collaboratively and constructively within teams of peers, staff and other stakeholders, as well as initiative and effective personal judgement when working alone
  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge of the residential care field, particularly within a therapeutic environment
