Seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead complex refurbishment projects with a proven track record of successfully delivering high-quality outcomes.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing construction programmes, ensuring quality and timeliness while minimizing risks. They will also possess excellent leadership skills, strong commercial acumen, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders.
A key aspect of this role is identifying and mitigating potential construction risks through proactive project management. The successful candidate will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with local council and regulatory requirements, as well as maintaining a safe working environment.
The project scope includes heavy refurbishments valued at $6m+, requiring expertise in roof replacement or new build projects. Subsequent projects may involve refurbishments, repairs, remediation, demolition, and upgrade projects of varying sizes.
To succeed in this position, candidates should have:
- Detailed knowledge of local council and regulatory requirements
- Strong planning and project financial reporting skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Well-developed interpersonal skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite
- Construction Safety Induction (white) card
