Project Management Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the execution of heavy refurbishments.

  • The successful candidate will have a strong background in construction management, design management, and OHS, with experience in leading cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality projects.

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing comprehensive project programmes and communicating them to the team.
  • Ensuring construction programmes are followed and delivering on project quality within the given timeframe.
  • Identifying and managing construction risk, escalating issues when required.
  • Managing project expenditure and cash flow.
  • Management and achievement of external engineering design aspects of projects.
  • Design management.
  • Managing subcontractors on site.
  • Managing and maintaining HSEQ requirements on the project.
  • Producing progress reports.
  • Delivering and managing client expectations.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Construction Management or similar.
  • Minimum 5 - 10 years+ experience in the successful delivery of refurb / new build or remedial projects from start to finish.
  • Proven leadership ability in building and motivating teams to deliver high-quality projects.
  • Detailed knowledge of local council and regulatory requirements / standards.
  • Strong planning and project financial reporting skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite.
  • Construction Safety Induction (white) card.
