Our goal is to attract a skilled and motivated individual who can play a key role in maintaining the community's infrastructure.

This position focuses on road maintenance and repair, utilizing specialized equipment such as JetPatcher/Paveliner trucks. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing teams, operating mobile technology, and possessing excellent communication skills.

The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of road maintenance activities, including planning work schedules and managing staff performance. Additionally, they will be expected to maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and perform administrative tasks.

Successful candidates will demonstrate their ability to work effectively in a team environment, communicate with diverse stakeholders, and contribute to the overall success of the organization.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining and repairing road surfaces
  • Operating JetPatcher/Paveliner trucks and other equipment
  • Managing an offsider (Jetpatcher/Paveliner Operator)
  • Planning and scheduling work
  • Recording maintenance activities

Desirable qualifications and skills include:

  • Certificate III Civil Construction (Road Construction and Maintenance) or equivalent qualification
  • Demonstrated experience in road surface repair and treatment
  • Proven team management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to use electronic devices for recording and administration
