**Role Overview**

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Manager to lead our maintenance team in Western Australia. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring all preventative and reactive maintenance tasks are completed and up to date.

The ideal candidate will have experience in building maintenance, trade qualifications, and the ability to perform a wide variety of tasks including use of tools and equipment. You will also have excellent communication skills and respect for residents and colleagues.

This role is full-time and Monday to Friday. The Maintenance Manager will oversee all WA sites, including current sites Singleton and Mandurah as well as future sites being built or acquired.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the maintenance team to ensure all preventative and reactive maintenance tasks are completed and up to date.
  • Provide hands-on assistance where applicable and limit the need to engage contractors.

  • Ensure compliance with legislative requirements pertaining to maintenance and repairs.
  • Make decisions about costs and priorities and document a full plan for work to be completed.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience in building maintenance.
  • Trade qualification e.g. A Grade Electrician OR qualified Plumber (including TMV work).
  • Excellent communication skills and respect for residents and colleagues.
  • Ability to perform a wide variety of tasks including use of tools and equipment.
  • Previous experience working autonomously with limited direction.
