Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Nurse Consultant to join our team in a challenging role that involves providing expert leadership and clinical advice to healthcare professionals, patients, and families.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead multidisciplinary teams in pain management, covering chronic and acute pain, preoperative, postoperative, procedural, trauma, and disease-related pain.
  • Develop and deliver high-quality education resources for patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Act as a resource for healthcare professionals to enhance capability, knowledge, and delivery of pain management services.

About the Role:

The successful applicant will have current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA and at least 5 years' full-time equivalent post-registration clinical experience.


Selection Criteria:
  • Demonstrated effective communication skills, including verbal, written, and interpersonal skills, and advanced information technology skills.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team, prioritizing and managing workload effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead quality improvement, practice development, and evidence-based practice.
