Job Description

Clinical Nurse Consultant Grade 2 - Pain Management

  • Pain management is a critical aspect of healthcare, requiring expertise and leadership to deliver high-quality services.
  • This role will provide clinical advice, consultancy services, care planning, and education to health professionals, patients, and families in pain management.
Responsibilities
  • Provide expert leadership and clinical advice to multidisciplinary teams in pain management.
  • Deliver high-quality service as a member of the team, covering chronic and acute pain.
  • Act as a resource for other healthcare professionals to enhance capability and knowledge in pain management.
  • Develop specialized education resources for pain management for patients and their families.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Current Authority to Practise as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
  • At least 5 years full-time equivalent post-registration clinical experience including 3 years in the specialty and relevant postgraduate qualifications.
  • Demonstrated effective communication, including verbal and written skills, interpersonal ability, negotiation and conflict resolution, and advanced information technology skills.
