Chief Technology Officer

Role Overview

This senior leadership position oversees the strategic planning and execution of enterprise architecture strategy, aligning with business objectives. The goal is to support innovation and drive digital transformation across manufacturing sites.

The Chief Technology Officer leads technology initiatives, driving operational efficiency, sustainability, and security across the organization. This includes overseeing AI & data architecture design, evolution, and governance; researching and evaluating emerging technologies to drive competitive advantage.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute enterprise architecture strategy, technology roadmaps, and business cases to support business objectives.
  • Champion Innovation: Oversee AI & data architecture design, evolution, and governance; research and evaluate emerging technologies to drive competitive advantage and operational excellence.
  • Lead Technology Decisions: Manage central technical strategy, chair Architecture Review Board activities, and provide expert direction in technology decisions while aligning with core company values.
  • Build Strategic Partnerships: Cultivate relationships with technology vendors, industry experts, and internal stakeholders to support business growth and digital transformation.
About the Ideal Candidate
  • Strategic Technology Leader: Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field, with expertise in enterprise architecture frameworks like TOGAF and knowledge of manufacturing or FMCG requirements.
  • Proven Executive: 10+ years of progressive leadership experience with cross-functional teams, large-scale technology projects, and digital transformation in complex manufacturing environments.
  • Architecture Expert: Cloud platform certifications (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) with deep expertise in AI & data architecture, governance, security, and integration patterns for manufacturing and retail operations.
  • Industry Specialist: Significant experience in FMCG, retail, or manufacturing industries with understanding of operational technologies, supply chain systems, and regulatory requirements in food manufacturing.
  • Exceptional Communicator: Ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and stakeholder and vendor relationship management.
