Exceptional Legal Services Opportunity

This is a chance to provide high-profile and diverse legal services to the Chief Commissioner of Police and Victoria Police personnel. The Police Advisory Branch is at the forefront of providing strategic advice and representation on matters of public interest.

The role requires an experienced lawyer with strong client focus, leadership capabilities, and technical expertise in government legal services. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing highly specialised legal expertise and technical legal advice across government
  • Strategic leadership to legal teams, ensuring high-quality and responsive legal services
  • Advancing client strategies, practice areas, and client relationships to drive business growth

The successful applicant will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work effectively in a dynamic environment, and demonstrate a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of ethical legal practice. They must also hold a Baseline, Negative Vetting 1 or Negative Vetting 2 security clearance or be willing to obtain one.
