About the Role

As a key stakeholder, you will oversee the entire spectrum of project controls functions including strategic planning, scheduling, cost optimization, and performance tracking. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to contractual obligations.

  • Develop and implement tailored project controls processes for engineering design projects.
  • Provide strategic oversight and integration of project scheduling, cost control, and performance activities.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual requirements and industry standards.
  • Foster strong collaboration and integration with contractors to align deliverables, progress updates, and performance metrics.
Your Responsibilities
  • Establish project budget baselines, forecast costs, and analyze variances.
  • Supervise financial tracking and reporting for Time & Material contracts, ensuring accurate billing and transparency with clients.
  • Implement and utilize Earned Value Management (EVM) processes for design projects.
  • Collaborate with contractor teams to align project controls processes and resolve variances effectively.
Requirements
  • Desirable experience working in Progressive Design-Build (PDB), alliance contracts, or other collaborative delivery models.
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in project controls specifically within engineering design environments.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or related field; advanced degrees preferred.
  • Relevant certifications such as PMP, CCP, PSP, or equivalent highly desirable.
  • Proficient with industry-standard software: Primavera P6, MS Project, SAP, EcoSys, Excel, and relevant financial management tools.
