**The Opportunity**:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Project Control Specialist to manage, plan, and coordinate various projects within the assigned line of business. As a Project Control Specialist you will be responsible for managing project schedules, identifying project hazards, coordinating effectively amongst a cross-functional team to ensure project goals and budgets are met, and delivering project status updates to project managers and other stakeholders. You will be responsible for the establishment and maintenance of project control systems, including cost, schedule, and risk management.

**Some of your responsibilities will include**:

- Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules, including all critical path activities and dependencies between tasks.
- Prepare, analyse, and present cost forecasts and budget reports to ensure projects remain within financial guidelines.
- Implement and oversee project control processes such as change management procedures, to manage project scope, schedule, and costs effectively.
- Facilitate risk management activities, identifying potential project risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
- Coordinate and collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely reporting of project status and performance metrics.
- Supporting and encouraging stakeholder engagement throughout the project cycle.
- Establish and maintain project documentation and records, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Perform quality control audits to ensure project outputs meet the required standards and stakeholder expectations.

**To be successful you will need**:

- to hold, or have previously held at least Baseline or NV1 clearance
- Proven experience in project controls or related roles, preferably in Defence Industry
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Well-developed communication and time management skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

As a defence security clearance is required for this role, you must be an Australian citizen and retain a NV1 security clearance.
