This leadership role involves the execution of key commercial projects across Australia, focusing on delivering a global medical technology leader's Reconstruction and Digital Technology Solutions strategy.
- The Commercial Project Manager will take ownership of end-to-end complex sales processes, engaging with internal teams and external partners to position the company as the go-to partner for hospitals and healthcare providers in Australia.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering agreed strategies through customer engagement, staff mentoring, opportunity identification, and deal closure.
- Providing insights into growth strategies and sales/marketing plans.
- Establishing flagship reference sites for key technologies to support wider market adoption.
- Identifying and communicating market trends, challenges, and opportunities to the Commercial team.
- Growing our presence with existing and competitive accounts.
- Championing the launch of new technologies into the market.
Requirements include:
- Tertiary qualifications in a related field or equivalent senior commercial experience.
- 10+ years' experience in commercial roles within the medical device or surgical sales sector.
- Proven track record of complex selling to the medical profession.
- Strength in closing sales, prospecting, planning, and aligning solutions to customer needs.
- Deep market knowledge and ability to influence at executive and clinical levels.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
- High energy, professionalism, and a results-driven mindset.
This is a field-based role that requires significant and frequent travel on sales region of responsibility.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Commercial Experience: 10+ years in commercial roles within the medical device or surgical sales sector.
- Qualifications: Tertiary qualifications in a related field or equivalent senior commercial experience.
- Market Knowledge: Deep understanding of the medical device and surgical sales sector.
- Sales Skills: Proven track record of complex selling to the medical profession.
- Leadership: High energy, professionalism, and a results-driven mindset.
