Operations Manager for Small Package Hub

Join our organization as an Operations Manager for a small package hub. This role is responsible for managing the daily operations of the hub, ensuring packages are sorted accurately and loaded onto appropriate trailers for movement to next locations. The successful candidate will be accountable for ensuring loads are dispatched on time and to the appropriate locations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the small package hub
  • Ensure packages are sorted correctly and loaded onto trailers in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with feeder and dispatch operations to ensure loads for large accounts are sorted and built according to service agreements
  • Determine employee training needs and develop continuous development plans
  • Conduct performance evaluations and resolve individual and group performance issues
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree or International equivalent - Preferred
  • Legal, regulatory, and safety compliance knowledge - Preferred
  • Understanding of policies and procedures to situations and operations in a business environment - Preferred
  • Manages and uses details, facts, and information to thoroughly and accurately plan and complete work
