Project Manager: Job Overview

The role of Project Manager encompasses the overall responsibility for multiple water-related infrastructure projects. This includes stakeholder management, requirement gathering, business case development, project planning, scope definition, schedules, cost estimates, financial control, and construction management.

  • Developing and maintaining project documentation, such as business cases, scopes, plans, estimates, and specifications
  • Maintaining up-to-date schedules and registers for risk, cost, and scope
  • Ensuring stakeholder communication and engagement throughout the project life cycle
  • Identifying corporate and project risks within the project lifecycle and implementing mitigation strategies
  • Leading the development and delivery of programs to achieve project outcomes
  • Collaborating with contractors, suppliers, and the Contract and Procurement team on project-related contractual matters
  • Managing contract value and preparing variations as required

This position is accountable for ensuring projects are delivered and reported within agreed quality, cost, scope, and schedule while adhering to a regulatory framework.
