Research Project Support Officer

Our team is seeking a highly capable and organised professional to support research projects at the Coastal Marine Ecosystems Research Centre.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing daily operations, coordinating logistics for fieldwork and project delivery, organising community engagement activities, overseeing procurement, supporting infrastructure development and ensuring compliance with governance and safety requirements. This role will directly contribute to the success and impact of our marine research initiatives.
This position requires exceptional time management skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational and communication skills, as well as experience in project management and coordination.
A background in environmental science or a related field is highly desirable, but not essential. What's most important is that you have a passion for contributing to groundbreaking research and making a real difference in the world.
