Compassionate Caregiver Role

This is an exceptional opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of older Australians. We are seeking a compassionate and skilled caregiver to join our team as a Community Care Worker.

The successful candidate will have the autonomy to provide essential domestic care services, including personal care, social support, transport, food preparation, and respite care, all while building genuine connections with clients through their daily interactions.

What You Will Do:

  • Provide personal care services, including showering and assisting with other personal grooming tasks.
  • Offer social support, taking clients on outings to the shops, the bank, a café, or for a walk.
  • Transport clients to appointments or respite.
  • Prepare meals and assist with household chores.
  • Provide respite care, assisting with exercising, dressing, toileting, and supervising the self-administration of medication.

Requirements:

  • Certificate III in Individual Support (or equivalent), or Cert IV in Aged Care or Disability or Home and Community, or 2nd year Bachelor of Nursing.
  • Experience in aged care, disability, or community nursing is desired.
  • Right to work in Australia.
  • Current driver's license and access to your own car with comprehensive car insurance.
  • National Police Clearance or willingness to obtain.
  • Proof of Covid Vaccination.
