We are seeking a skilled and compassionate caregiver to join our team. In this rewarding role, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities.

About the Role:

  • As a caregiver, you will provide emotional and physical support to clients, helping them to live independently and achieve their goals.
  • You will be responsible for assisting with daily tasks, such as personal care, household chores, and meal preparation.
  • In addition, you will help clients participate in leisure activities, promote socialization, and facilitate communication between clients and their loved ones.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing high-quality care and support to clients with varying levels of need.
  • Assisting with daily living tasks, including grooming, bathing, dressing, and using the bathroom.
  • Preparing nutritious meals and snacks that meet clients' dietary needs and preferences.
  • Helping clients engage in meaningful activities, such as hobbies, exercise, or social events.
  • Maintaining accurate records of client progress and communicating effectively with family members and healthcare professionals.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 12 months experience in caregiving or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated ability to remain calm and patient in challenging situations.

Requirements to Qualify:

  • Criminal History Check (less than 6 months old).
  • NDIS Worker Screening.
  • First Aid and CPR certificates.
  • Own vehicle with comprehensive insurance and unrestricted Australian Driver's Licence.
  • Flexibility of hours from Monday to Sunday.
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module.
