Senior Mechanical/Piping Designer Position

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering technically acceptable design services and working closely with stakeholders to ensure timely, cost-effective, and fit-for-purpose engineering and design output.

This includes the delivery of technically acceptable designs that meet all relevant regulations and standards.

Additionally, you will contribute to the development, implementation, and improvement of systems across the division and support customer relations to achieve mutually satisfactory and technical program outcomes.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience in a senior design role, preferably in the Oil & Gas, Mining & Minerals, and Infrastructure/Utilities sectors.
  • Strong EPC (greenfield and brownfield) experience.
  • Proficiency in 3D modeling, generating MTOs, pipe isometrics, and other drawings.
  • Piping specs/catalogue development, bulkload/pipe catalogue activities.
  • Project S3D administration.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Auto Cad, Microstation, Smart 3D, SMAT, Navisworks, and Open plant/plant 3d.
