Job Title: Payroll Specialist
Job Description:We are seeking a skilled and experienced payroll specialist to manage the end-to-end payroll process for our organization across Australia and New Zealand.
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving the final stages of payroll system implementation prior to go live, ensuring seamless integration with our existing processes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing payroll processing in our new system, including post-manager approval checklists and quick entry submission forms.
- Ensuring accurate and timely payroll submissions, including checks and balances for fortnightly and monthly pay runs.
- Coordinating with our offshore team to drive and oversee payroll processing, reporting, administration, compliance, legislation, and payroll accounting.
- Developing and implementing procedures for parallel testing and submissions, including data templates and exceptions.
Qualifications:
- Full function Australian payroll experience (4+ years)
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Seniority level: Mid-Senior level
