Senior Legal Counsel Role

The role of Senior Legal Counsel requires a trusted legal advisor to provide high-quality legal advice. The successful candidate will be proactive, bringing a can-do attitude and demonstrating a keen interest in providing solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing legal advice on transactions, market processes, development activities, dispute resolution, and regulatory compliance
  • Developing and structuring transactions
  • Educating teams and other stakeholders on the legal aspects of business activities
  • Managing external lawyers and advisors
  • Assisting in the training and mentoring of lawyers and paralegals

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in law and admission in New South Wales
  • Substantial experience in property and/or construction law; drafting and negotiating complex documentation
  • High-level written and oral communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders
  • Exposure to construction, planning, tax, and litigation within the development context
