About Our Children's Home Registered Manager Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled individual to oversee the daily operations of our children's home in Bridgwater, Somerset.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of staff and ensuring high-quality care is delivered to young people. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of young individuals.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the home, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and inspection requirements.
  • Lead, motivate, and develop the staff team, providing training and support as needed.
  • Ensure the smooth administration of the home and undertake wider operational tasks as required.
  • Produce, update, and monitor plans, reports, and other documents, delivering them to deadlines.
  • Represent the organisation professionally to external agencies and within the local community.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a relevant position within the last 5 years, with at least 1 year requiring the supervision and management of staff.
  • A recognised social work qualification and a valid manual driving licence.
