About the Role
At our hospitality organisation, we are seeking a dedicated professional to fill the position of AML Compliance Expert. The chosen candidate will be at the forefront of our efforts to combat financial crime and ensure compliance with Anti-Money Laundering regulations.

This role involves conducting thorough investigations and quality assurance checks across multiple departments to guarantee that all necessary measures are in place to prevent financial crime. Our ideal candidate will possess exceptional analytical skills and have the ability to review vast amounts of data, identify potential risks, and provide recommendations for improvement.

The successful applicant will also have experience working with internal teams and external partners to implement robust compliance protocols and stay up-to-date on industry developments. Strong communication skills are essential for effective collaboration with colleagues and stakeholders to achieve business objectives while ensuring regulatory adherence.

In addition to their technical expertise, our ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of risk management principles and the ability to identify and mitigate potential threats to the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with anti-money laundering regulations
  • Analyse complex data sets to identify potential risks and trends
  • Develop and implement targeted strategies to mitigate identified risks
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate compliance into operational processes
  • Provide training and support to staff on AML policies and procedures

Required Skills and Qualifications
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, candidates should possess:
  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as law, finance or accounting
  • At least 2 years' experience in a compliance or risk management role within the gaming or financial services sector
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and communicate findings effectively
  • Strong knowledge of anti-money laundering regulations and risk management principles
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word
