Description of the Role

We seek an experienced AML/CTF Manager to join our Operations team. The successful candidate will oversee AML/CTF monitoring and support business line activities.

  • Ongoing Responsibilities:
  • Ongoing management & maintenance of Transaction Monitoring Rules within automated TMS systems.
  • Oversight of member OCDD & ECDD activities, including High Risk members & PEPs.
  • Management of SMR lodgement processes to Austrac.
  • Development and maintenance of procedures supporting AML/CTF Activities.
  • Leadership of direct reports in ensuring timely completion of ongoing activities.
  • Key contact with third-party vendors on technical / system changes impacting AML/CTF obligations.
  • Support in completing the Bank's AML/CTF Risk Assessment.
  • Support in reviews of the Bank's AML/CTF Program.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • At least 3-5 years' experience in Financial Services, AML/CTF Risk and Compliance related.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Law, Finance or Compliance.
  • Affiliation with industry associations.
  • Demonstrated experience or skills in building relationships and communicating complex concepts.
  • Analysing situations and solving problems.
  • Working autonomously.
