About The Role We're excited to offer a newly created opportunity for anexperienced AML/CTF professional to join our internal General Counsel team as Manager, Anti-Money Laundering/Counter Terrorist Financing (AML/CTF) Compliance.
This is a rare chance toshape and lead the development of our central AML/CTF Compliancefunction.
You'll work closely with the General Counsel and ITteams to implement the firm's AML/CTF Compliance Program andestablish a high-performing team that supports partners, lawyers,and internal stakeholders.
Key responsibilities will include: Play a key role in the design and implementation of AML/KYCtechnology solutions in collaboration with IT.
Work with the internal and external project team to assistwith the roll out the firm's AML/CTF Compliance Programin line with Tranche 2 requirements.
Recruit, train, and manage a centralised AML/KYC team.
Drive service excellence, continuous improvement, and bestpractice across the function.
Provide expert advice and training on AML/CTF laws andinternal KYC policies.
About you: You will have a compliance or legal background and will havedeep experience in AML/CTF compliance.
Ideally you will have workedat another law or professional services firm in a similar role.
Experience is leading teams and building up a function will alsobe valuable as will the ability to navigate complex regulatorylandscape.
You will have excellent communication skills, be well organisedand enjoy collaboration.
