At Sydney Dental Hospital, we are seeking an experienced professional to fill the position of Demand Unit Manager. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of healthcare intake and demand management.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the waitlist bookings for Sydney Dental Hospital & Oral Health Services (SDH-OHS) to ensure timely and accurate data submission.
  • Provide subject matter expert advice and reporting to high-level stakeholders, including hospital senior executives and clinicians.
  • Oversee the ongoing management and coordination of department activities and initiatives.
  • Support administrative staff and other team members to facilitate quality outcomes and departmental objectives.

Requirements:

Applicants should have a strong understanding of elective surgery waitlist management best practices, trends, and barriers, as well as experience managing teams to achieve service goals and deliver excellent customer service.

They must also be able to manage multiple projects, design programs, implement change, and realise benefits to ensure high-quality deliverables.

Proficiency in project management, communication, and leadership skills is essential for this role.
