Digital Technology Educator

The Role:
Deliver engaging STEM education experiences to students and teachers across Australia.
- Present workshops that explore digital technology and cyber security concepts.
- Help educators and community groups use Questacon's resources with their own audiences.
About the Job:
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a team that develops and delivers Questacon engagement programs. The successful candidate will have the chance to work closely with a diverse group of people, promoting educational experiences that inspire and grow our cyber security workforce of the future.
The Ideal Candidate:
We are seeking someone with effective communication skills, emotional intelligence, and strong organisational abilities. Experience in education, running youth activities, information technology, digital innovation, and solutions would be advantageous. If you have a passion for creating meaningful education experiences, this could be the perfect role for you.
Benefits:
You will gain experience working as part of a small touring team, developing an understanding of the importance of digital technology and 21st century skills in Australia's formal and informal STEM-education ecosystem. You will also have the opportunity to travel to regional areas for 2-4 weeks at a time, each school term.
Eligibility:
The position holder is required to hold a full or P2 driver's licence, obtain and/or maintain a security clearance at Baseline level, undergo a National Police Check, and obtain, or hold, a current registration issued under the Working with Vulnerable People (Background Checking) Act 2011.
