Job Title: ePortfolio Educational Designer/Technologist

This is a unique opportunity to join our team as an ePortfolio Educational Designer/Technologist. As a key member of the Faculty of Medicine & Health, you will play a vital role in supporting the implementation and phased rollout of the ePortfolio platform (Risr) across the Faculty.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with academic and professional staff to support the implementation of Risr and the ePortfolio platform.
  • Support initial deployment and staged rollout across the Faculty, including areas such as accreditation, workplace-based assessment, programmatic assessment, and tracking student progress.
  • Utilise the Risr platform in accreditation, assessment, and progress tracking; contribute to design and development of forms, templates and reports.
  • Pilot new educational technologies, implement workflows, and evaluate effectiveness; manage multiple concurrent projects with limited supervision.
  • Design, deliver and evaluate professional development for staff (in-person and online) and develop supporting resources and guides.
  • Provide technical support and develop innovative solutions while maintaining collaborative relationships with staff at all levels.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Relevant qualifications and experience in technology-enabled learning, teaching and/or curriculum for higher education; or equivalent knowledge from education, training or experience.
  • Experience with ePortfolio platforms (preferably Risr) for accreditation, workplace-based/programmatic assessment, and student progress mapping and tracking.
  • Experience designing and developing forms, templates, and reports using an ePortfolio platform in collaboration with teaching staff.
  • Experience in piloting educational technologies, implementing workflows, and evaluating outcomes.
  • Experience in managing multiple projects and working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Experience delivering professional development workshops for staff (face-to-face and online) and creating resources for self-directed learning.
  • Strong technical skills with Microsoft Office suite and Power Platform; knowledge of Power Apps for teaching contexts is advantageous.
