Senior Cloud Engineering Manager

As a seasoned manager in the cloud technology sector, you will focus on driving business growth and innovation for Defence and National Security clients. This strategic leadership role will leverage cutting-edge digital engineering solutions to enhance national security capabilities.

This pivotal position will be responsible for overseeing complex digital engineering projects, ensuring timely completion within scope and to the highest quality standards. The successful candidate will lead high-performing teams of digital engineers and consultants, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute digital engineering strategies aligned with Defence & National Security goals and objectives.
  • Client Engagement: Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, understanding unique challenges and delivering tailored solutions.
  • Cloud Solutions: Drive adoption of sovereign, classified cloud technologies within Defence and National Security projects.
  • Team Development: Grow, mentor and develop high-performing teams.
  • Market Insights: Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies and regulatory changes.
  • Project Oversight: Oversee delivery of complex digital engineering projects.
  • Thought Leadership: Contribute to EY's thought leadership in digital engineering.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum 15 years of experience in technology strategy, architecture and defence and national security; cloud technologies essential.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven track record of leading teams, building organisational capabilities, sales and managing large-scale projects.
  • Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of digital engineering principles, cloud architectures and relevant technologies.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field; Master's degree or MBA preferred.
  • Security Clearance: Top Secret Positive vetted security clearance required by market sector, ideally with OSA.
