Maintenance of efficient production operations is key to our company's success. We are seeking a highly skilled Production Operator to join our team.

As a Production Operator, you will work autonomously whilst being supported, encouraged, and being part of a trusted organization. You will be responsible for performing machine operator requirements to support our company's operations in our Brisbane, Australia manufacturing site.

Responsibilities include:

  • Machine operation working in a small production team
  • Operate machines in the correct manner, as instructed, to maximize efficiency
  • Complete all production reports and other documentation ensuring good communication and record keeping practices
  • Maintain good quality control of products by careful interpretation of job sheet details and inspection of products
  • May include inspection and cleaning of devices and equipment
  • Promptly raise any issues or concerns with your supervisor or team leader
  • Ensure a high level of tidiness and organization is maintained around machines
  • Be proactive in site safety by promptly informing hazards, risks, or incidents through EH&S Officers and representatives
  • Remain informed on all company procedures, policies, and information by participating in shift toolbox meetings and completing policy training
  • Training junior staff when required
  • Ensure all work is performed in accordance with Quality and Environmental Health & Safety procedures and policies
  • Participate in biannual stock takes
  • Carry out other assignments as requested by your supervisor

You must have:

  • Demonstrated ability for good time management, attention to detail, and collaborative mindset
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Good organizational skills
  • Effective operation of limited production tasks, plant, and equipment
  • Ability to demonstrate emotional intelligence, empathy, resilience, and change agility
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, proactively contribute, and demonstrate inclusive behaviors with respect for diversity
  • Demonstrate ethics and integrity, in line with company policy, and ensure responsible use of company assets particularly related to operation of plant and equipment
