Job Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our Risk & Controls Assurance team as a Third Party Trust Manager.

  • Review business processes, systems, procedures, and controls to ensure they meet financial and regulatory reporting requirements and contractual obligations.
  • Conduct analysis, documentation, and testing of internal controls and control environments.
  • Identify current and emerging risks and raise issues with line management.
  • Develop meaningful relationships with stakeholders, including clients and colleagues.
  • Manage large project engagements from planning through to final reporting.

As a Third Party Trust Manager, you will provide assurance on client activities spanning control readiness, remediation, and robustness of controls to Board Audit Committees and external stakeholders. You will also provide specialist operational risk support for internal and external audit services.

Our ideal candidate has a background in internal controls and is skilled in providing assurance to organizations within the wealth management industry. They hold an understanding of Australian control reporting standards, such as GS007, ASAE 3402, ASAE 3150, or their international equivalents (ISAE 3402, SOC 1, SSAE, AAF etc). Technical skills in controls, risk, and governance are also essential.
