Job Summary:

NTT DATA Services is seeking a skilled Desktop Support Engineer to join our team in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. As a key member of our End User Computing (EUC) team, you will provide technical support to end-users in a client environment, ensuring seamless IT operations and exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for a site, providing technical support and guidance to end-users.
  • Contribute to the EUC team, providing support for desktops, laptops, monitors, printers, and other IT equipment and peripherals.
  • Work on incident resolution and request fulfillment, adhering to ITIL framework guidelines.
  • Involved in IMAC-D (Install, Move, Add, Change, and Decommission/Disposal) activities for desktops, laptops, and other IT assets.
  • Learn new and emerging technologies as needed, guided by business requirements.

Requirements and Preferences:

  • 1+ year of experience in software and hardware troubleshooting, Windows OS in a desktop support environment.
  • Good understanding of ITIL framework.
  • Experience in using ITSM tools like ServiceNow, Remedy, etc.
  • Ability to physically perform general office requirements.
  • Must be able to perform essential responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodations.
  • Travel, including overnight domestic trips, will be required.
