About the Role

A Defence Force opportunity working within the exciting and future-focused REDSPICE program.

Operational Engineering Branch delivers cutting-edge capabilities to support ASD's Signals Intelligence, Cyber, and Enterprise Capabilities. These capabilities include:

  • Delivery of new capability under the REDSPICE program
  • Delivery of ASD's major capability programs
  • Enhancing and modernizing existing capabilities

REDSPICE is the most significant single investment in the Australian Signals Directorate's 75-year history. It responds to deteriorating strategic circumstances in our region, characterized by rapid military expansion, growing coercive behavior, and increased cyber-attacks.

Through REDSPICE, ASD will deliver forward-looking capabilities essential to maintaining Australia's strategic advantage and capability edge over the coming decade and beyond.

The Project Support Officer will contribute to organizational capability within the project. Responsibilities may include:

  • Providing effective administration, procurement, and finance support to technical projects
  • Maintaining Risk Registers, Stakeholder Matrix, and management of Program and Project artefacts within the team
  • Supporting programme or project control boards, project assurance teams, and quality review meetings
Key Requirements

  • Knowledge of Project Management methodologies
  • Demonstrated Project Officer Competencies within the ICT field
  • Experience with the Commonwealth complex procurement process, including the tendering process, and managing contracts
