The project involves expanding the existing Bannaby 500 kV substation and designing and constructing 230km of new 500 kV double circuit transmission line. This new transmission line will connect the Bannaby 500 kV substation at the Wondalga interface point with HumeLink West.

We are seeking a Safety Manager to join our established safety team working on site.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement occupational health and safety strategies, systems and initiatives
  • Ensure the project is compliant with relevant legislation, codes of practice and standards
  • Develop and maintain a base SWMS register and support project staff in reviewing and updating project SWMS
  • Prepare and distribute approved health and safety reports
  • Coordinate and maintain inspection registers, audit schedules and compliance registers
  • Participate in site inspections, audits and safety management system reviews
Required Skills And Competencies
  • Experience in disciplines such as rail and associated infrastructure
  • Certificate IV in Occupational Health and Safety
  • Incident Investigation (ICAM/Root Cause or equivalent)
