Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Home Care Worker. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive difference in the lives of our clients, supporting them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing domestic assistance, travel between client homes, and supporting clients with daily living tasks such as meal preparation and household chores. They will also provide social support, transportation services, and personal care as required.

This role requires a strong understanding of community care principles and a commitment to delivering high standards of care to our clients. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a patient and empathetic approach, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

About the Role:

  • Provide domestic assistance to clients, including meal preparation and household chores
  • Travel between client homes, using own vehicle
  • Support clients with daily living tasks, such as showering, grooming, and mobility assistance
  • Provide social support and transportation services as required
  • Promote and participate in quality activities, and provide outstanding customer service

Requirements:

  • Certificate III/IV or equivalent in Individual Support (Aged or Disability) or equivalent qualification
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification
  • Valid Victorian driver's licence and registered vehicle insurance
  • Ability to pass a national police clearance and NDIS Clearance
