Job Title: Senior Executive - Commercial Operations

This senior executive role presents an opportunity to lead commercial operations across a diversified portfolio of assets, championing precision agriculture and data-driven performance management. The successful candidate will drive capital efficiency, revenue, and risk outcomes while partnering closely with operations and farm managers.

About the Role
  • Lead the commercial function to deliver strategic objectives and drive business growth.
  • Develop and execute disciplined capital allocation strategies aligned to the corporate plan.
  • Oversee commodity marketing and risk management functions, driving pricing strategy through internal and external advisors.
  • Provide scenario analysis, benchmarked performance reporting, and forward forecasts that link paddock decisions to financial and capital outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Capital Allocation: Set and execute disciplined capital allocation strategies aligned to the corporate plan, ensuring optimal resource utilization and maximizing returns.
  2. Commodity Marketing and Risk Management: Oversee commodity marketing and risk management functions, driving pricing strategy through internal and external advisors to minimize exposure and maximize gains.
  3. Performance Reporting and Scenario Analysis: Provide scenario analysis, benchmarked performance reporting, and forward forecasts that link paddock decisions to financial and capital outcomes, enabling informed decision-making.
  4. Farm Plan Alignment: Align farm plans to top-quartile benchmarks in efficiency, productivity, people engagement, and carbon emissions, driving operational excellence and sustainability.
Requirements
  • 10+ years' senior leadership experience in commercial or finance within a production environment.
  • Proven leadership of multi-disciplinary teams; strong planning, analytical, and problem-solving capability.
  • Depth in capital-intensive settings and commercial negotiation for high-value asset procurement; strength in managing strategic supplier and customer relationships.
