Position Title: Senior Account Executive
Department: Branch Network
Primary Purpose of the Role:
The Senior Account Executive is responsible for developing and maintaining client focus to maximize sales growth of insurance and financial services products. The role involves retaining existing client relationships, expanding business, and generating new opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Managing long-term relationships with key clients engaged with insurance products, services, and solutions

- Cultivating and maintaining productive working relationships with clients and underwriters

- Staying informed about large and complex claims, assisting claims teams in negotiating fair settlements on behalf of clients

- Proactively identifying and fulfilling client needs through excellent account management and service delivery

- Developing and implementing account retention and defense strategies

- Seeking out and pursuing new business prospects

- Collaborating with branch networks and insurers to craft solutions that meet client requirements

- Assisting in the development, implementation, and achievement of business plans, budgets, and objectives

- Mentoring Assistant Account Executives and Account Executives in their professional growth, including renewal and broking strategies

- Managing debtor accounts

- Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, including the Financial Services Reform Act

- Promoting cross-selling of insurance, financial services, and premium funding products when appropriate during client interactions

Essential Skills:

- Extensive technical knowledge of relevant insurance lines and legislation

- High accuracy in documentation, policies, and internal procedures

- Good understanding of industry trends and developments

- Strong computer skills and organizational abilities
